Box-shaped containers made with no-color transparent acryllic boards with the text "SAFEZONE" (case-insensitive) all over the outside, painted, or as the text on sticky tape. A few small ones (around 15~25 cm), one or two middle ones (the size of a human head) and one big one (the size of a human body). + Take a picture of the artist's hand inside different small containers, with the caption: "An example of utilizing the safezone. There's nothing to be afraid of inside the safe zone, and there's nothing that can be considered as a sin, or a disobedient act towards anyone." + Take a picture of fruits inside one of the small containers. (preferably one single red apple, but no matter what kind of fruit you choose, DO NOT CUT OPEN.) Caption: "Another example of utilizing the safezone. The reason SafeZone is called safezone is that creating art in this way is completely safe, whether in the default manner or the in-your-face manner. If there's still anyone who gets angry with this, I don't know what to do anymore." If fruits aren't available, other objects are okay as well. Preferably take 2 pictures with different objects. + Take a picture of the artist wearing a middle one as a hat, with the caption: "A wrong example of utilizing the SafeZone. This example is demonstrated by asking the artist to wear the SafeZone as a hat. In this example, the space occupied by the artist's head is unnecessarily occupied again by the SafeZone." + Take a picture of the artist standing inside the big container as if he/she/they was standing in a phone booth, wearing clothes that are not strange but the artist didn't wear often, preferably with a hat. Caption: "An example of using the SAFEZONE. If only one can hide oneself away from people like this." + To add a pinch of meta, write this instruction down and post a picture of it, or quote this instruction alongside with all the pictures taken as above. If it is realized in the form of a picture of a handwritten note, optional caption: "I'm planning to sell this at an auction house for $30,000. (Just kidding?)". + Optionally, picture of a sticky note that says: "BAN MEGAPHONES". Caption: "A picture of a sticky note (reasons unknown), upon which says: 'BAN MEGAPHONES'." If sticky notes aren't available, using normal paper is okay as well. * Creating artworks has always be a scary thing to me since my childhood. Not only because I can't draw good pictures, but also because it means spending materials on something that in almost all cases won't yield a profit for my already-poor family. Me being the "good" "obedient" kid "shouldn't be a burden for my parents", thus the only way I can truly make art that's 100% safe from anything (ranging from the sun's radiation to my parents of course) is to make it into a "purely conceptual thing". Now, *imagine a place where purely conceptual things happen materially*. * To create a container is human being's way to slice a bit of space from the world, thus making the act of creating a container a knife in a literal sense. * I don't know if this can be considered art - I don't know, I just make stuff. I think art needs to stand on its own, so I'm gonna call this piece a "quasi-art". * If for any reasons I didn't realize this quasi-art, this should be called an "unrealized quasi-art".
